CLASS 150 2" x 2" THREADED PIPE FLANGE

Flanges connect with pipe and fittings to form a piping system that transports natural or propane gas, water, steam, and air to residential, construction, and manufacturing applications. Flanges provide easy access for cleaning, inspection, and modification. Uncoated black steel and iron flanges, also called black malleable iron flanges, are made from corrosion-resistant ungalvanized steel with a scaly, dark-colored iron oxide coating. Flange types including blind, butt weld, lap joint, slip-on, socket weld, and threaded, are available in a variety of sizes and shapes.

Class 150 threaded flanges connect with low-pressure (100-299 psi) pipe. Threaded flanges, also called screwed flanges, include threads inside the flange bore that connect to the external threads on a pipe without welding. Threaded pipe flanges typically have a raised, flat, or RTJ (ring-type joint) face.
