Blackmer® TLGLF Sliding Vane Pumps are flanged mounted propane truck pumps. UL listed for propane, butane and anhydrous ammonia, these pumps come in three models: the 3-inch TLGLF3, the 3-inch TLGLF3HD, and the 4-inch TLGLF4. With a max flow rate of 425 gpm (1,608 L/min) the TLGLF4 pumps are designed for transport loading and unloading. Whereas the TLGLF3, designed for bobtail truck use, features a flow rate of 140 gpm (530 L/min) ideal for smaller tank vessel sizes. With an increased flow rate that is 55% greater than the TLGLF3, the TLGLF3HD model features flow rates of 180 gpm (681 L/min), ideal for high-capacity bobtail trucks that often have 7,000 gallon sized tank vessels.

All TLGLF pumps offer maximum differential pressure of 125 psi (8.62 bar) and can be driven by PTO shaft or by hydraulic motor using an adapter kit. Direct mounting of these propane truck pumps eliminates the need for inlet pipes, shut-off valve and external strainer, which can restrict flow and cause vaporization problems. The result is smoother operation and longer pump life. These propane pumps also feature cavitation suppression liners that reduce noise, vibration and wear caused by cavitation.

Features:

    • Pumps are listed by Underwriters Laboratory for both LPG and anhydrous ammonia (NH3) service
    • Cavitation suppression liner design for reducing the noise, vibration, and wear normally caused by entrained vapors
    • Replaceable casing, liners and end discs allow easy rebuilding of the pumping chamber to like-new condition
    • Ductile-iron construction with internal relief valve
    • Equipped with a double-ended drive shaft for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation by simply changing position of pump
    • Contains auxiliary intake port which can be used for emergency unloading of another tank or transport
    • Durable pumps for fast and quiet operation, providing sustained performance and trouble-free operation
    • Blackmer mechanical seal and ball bearing construction provide maximum reliability
    • Symmetrical bearing support assures even loading and wear for long life
    • Internal relief valve protects pump against excessive pressures
    • External ball bearings are isolated from pumpage by mechanical seals to maximize bearing life and minimize contamination risk
    • Advantages of sliding vane technology:
      • Unique sliding-vane pump design self-adjusts for wear to maintain flow rates
      • Excellent self-priming and dry-run capabilities
      • Sliding vane design provides sustained performance and trouble-free operation
      • Easy maintenance: vanes can be easily replaced without removing the pump from the piping system
      • High suction lift and line-stripping capabilities
      • Low maintenance and low life-cycle costs
