The Skytech ON/OFF SKY-8001TX Smart Home Remote Kit makes turning on a fireplace as easy as telling Alexa or Google Home to turn it on (or off). All your customer needs is a Skytech 1001A, 1001TLCD, 1420A, 1420TLCD and a standard Smart Plug that works with their Smart Home System! The Skytech 8001TX will work with an existing Smart Home device and assuming it is already configured for their home, they likely have a Smart Plug that they know is compatible with their system. Simply configure the new 8001TX with the existing Skytech remote, choose an outlet, plug in the Skytech adapter and transmitter and you will have a working smart fireplace remote!
The Skytech 8001TX includes a smart plug adapter* and transmitter. It is backwards compatible with the 1001A, 1001TLCD, 1420A, 1420TLCD remote control systems. The SkyTech 8001TX fireplace kit is specifically designed for simple push-button on/off control of gas log sets. The Skytech system will work with millivolt fireplace systems. Your gas valve needs to have TP/TH and TH terminals - typically the two outside terminals on your millivolt valve.
*You may be thinking - why doesn't the Skytech 8001 include the smart plug?! It does not include the smart plug because if it did, it would not work with your pre-configured Smart Home System. But the 8001TX will work with any smart plug! If your Smart Plug includes a USB port, there will be no need for you to use the included adapter.
