NEW MOBILE ADAPTERS

With the advancement in technology UEi Test Instruments has created mobile adapters that are a convenient and cost-effective way to test pressures and CO levels that connect directly to your smart device. The DPA1 Dual Differential Pressure Adapter can turn your smart phone into a manometer and the COA1 Carbon Monoxide Detector Adapter can turn your smart phone into a CO detector. Both adapters are compatible with iPhone or Android smart phones by connecting to the headphone jack. UEi has a free downloadable app in the app store compatible with iOS (iPhone 4X and up running iOS7 and higher, iPhone 7 and higher require use of Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter) and Android (Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, HTC One running Android 4.4 or higher).
The COA1 turns your smart phone into a Carbon Monoxide Detector by conveniently connecting to the headphone jack. The COA1 detects CO readings from 0-999 ppm with 1ppm resolution and will display the reading direct to your device through the app “CO Checker”. The app allows you to log and record CO levels in real time and adjust your logging interval to any time you would like. The app also has a graph function that will allow you to see the CO levels in real time on a graph to see the rise and fall of CO levels. Logging and recording your readings will also allow you to email your results and graphs with time and date stamps. With the COA1 weighing only .05oz, measuring less than 3 inches, and less expensive than other CO detectors it is a perfect selection to add to your tool bag!
The DPA1 turns your smart phone into a digital manometer by conveniently connecting to the headphone jack. The DPA1 displays the readings to the free app “DualPressure” available for download in the app store. This adapter detects positive, negative and differential pressure in units of inH2O(inWC), mmH2O (mmWC), psi, bar, mBar, kPa, InHg, mmHg with a range of +- 40 InWC. Logging and recording your data will allow you to email your results and graphs with time and date stamps. This is great for saving to your customer files and to keep a record of your set points when initially installing an appliance and for troubleshooting records. This is also a great function to be able to protect your company in the future by keeping logs of what pressures appliances are set at when the technician leaves a home and make sure that the customer is not trying to fix their appliances on their own and changing their set points. The DPA 1 includes 2 Flexible transparent silicone tubing (18” length ¼” diameter), 2 3/16” to 5/16” adapters (BF102), a carrying pouch, and battery. With the DPA1 weighing only 2.8 oz, measuring less than 5 inches, and less expensive than other dual digital manometers it is another perfect selection to add to your tool bag!
